Role Overview
We are looking for an Entry–Mid Level Developer who will work across multiple client projects, building and maintaining websites and web applications.
You will be involved in:
- WordPress development (custom themes, customization, optimization)
- Full-stack JavaScript development using Node.js
- Frontend development with React and Next.js
- Supporting client deployments, updates, and improvements
This role requires someone practical, resourceful, and able to ship.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites (themes, plugins, integrations)
- Build frontend applications using React and Next.js
- Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js
- Optimize websites for performance and security
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment systems
- Debug, test, and maintain client systems
- Work closely with project leads to deliver on timelines
- Provide technical documentation where necessary
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Information Technology
- Information Systems
- Or related technical field
- Proficiency in:
- WordPress (theme customization, plugin configuration)
- Node.js
- React
- Next.js
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- At least 1 year of practical development experience (internships, freelance, or employment)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Added Advantage
- Experience with:
- REST APIs
- Database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Git version control
- Hosting environments (cPanel, VPS, Cloud hosting)
- Basic DevOps practices
- Understanding of:
- Web security best practices
- Performance optimization
